Port Pirie’s history is a city transforming. Every major change in its past has been linked to ever-improving means of transport, from bullocks to trains and then trucks, from sails to steam to modern freighters. The next transformation stands on the horizon, built on new technology.
Stories come with every change. These are images and pieces of our our history and our future. Third in a trilogy built around the shared history of Port Pirie and its main industry, the exhibition is a collaboration between Nyrstar and the Port Pirie Regional art Gallery.
